We operate entirely by donation. Please support our ability to offer this group and other events to the community without charge by offering a nominal donation.
2nd Sunday Schedule
6:00 PM – sitting (vipassana) meditation
6:40 PM – walking meditation
7:00 PM – kindness (metta) meditation
7:15 PM – talk or questions
7:30 PM – finish (transition to *CPG by registration)
If you’re new, no need to contact us, just arrive a few minutes early to get oriented. Please bring a meditation pillow if you have one, a few pillows and chairs are available on a limited basis.
SLM Classes: We recommended that new participants take one of our mindfulness classes for a more thorough understanding of the context and application of mindfulness since the Sunday group is a guided silent group meditation period.
7:30 PM – *Committed Practice Group (CPG after group discussion)
This small group meets monthly after the larger SLM 2nd Sunday group and delves more deeply into a personal understanding & application of the traditional wisdom teachings by building on consecutive participation, group discussion, reading, sangha support and leadership roles. Prerequisite: Commitment, Intro or Level 1 (or equivalent) class and a regular meditation practice. Offered by donation. Please speak with Elizabeth before or after ongoing Sunday group if you are interested in joining.
